Re: Melbourne's poor Met service



Bus Companies get paid per trip, whether or not any passengers are carried.
It is much easier to steer a half empty bus around suburban backstreets than
to drive one packed to the rafters.

If bus drivers and bus companies were paid per passenger, they would wait
ages to get that full load, and not take off until there was no more room
inside.
