Saw the 48' s myself when they went through Benalla as we shunted 9548. What a
site!
They were very shiny, squeeky clean, and I spotted them as they entered the
flood lit level crossing (no camera again) What a pity they will have to start
them up, and they will again become the dirty greasy things we all love to hate!

Wonder if that previous post complaining about the cost of refurbishing them
[his words "Worth a small house " ]will be as impressed as I was, when he sees
them.
And if it was a Victorian Union demand to upgrade them, Where will they run [in
Victoria]?
