Z class trams to Sims

On Saturday 17/7, 5 Z class trams were pulled out of East block at Newport
workshops and had the roofs cut off them in preparation for being sent to
Simsmetal on monday.  They were all stored in East block ac. accident
damage and were written off due to the impending privatisation of the tram
system.
Also seen getting active are some of the damaged hitachis stored in east
block, some have been moved around the workshops area.  I don't know what
may be in store for them.

Now if anyone wants to buy one of 200 W class trams in East Block............
