I never got to ride Xplorers overnight. In the 2.5 years I was living in
Armidale, they wouldn't even run the overnight trains at Easter. Having
suffered an overnight journey from Melbourne on the XPT and a 6.45 arrival
in Sydney (if lucky), I still wasn't able to even doze for more than a few
mins on NP23. Way too noisy.
