GM's in Melb

Bloke on the footpath today reckoned that GM 42 came to Melbourne on the
Patricks train in the last couple of days.  This was an ASR loco last
time I looked.

Also on GM's, the ARE are planning to run a tour to Portland in
February, probably using 2 Great Northern GM's, one in GN colours, the
other still in AN colours.  Great Southern Railway's Overland cars will
be used.  Great Northern hauling Great Southern!
