Not wishing to pre-emp SlageL, but I doubt that he saw any work regarding the
Lilyfield extension, as of a few days ago I couldn't see anything happening.
On a similar note, construction on the Parramatta - Hoxton Park busway also
seems to be lagging, AFAIA some basic work on the section from Liverpool to
Miller TAFE was supposed to be completed by early this year.
