Well... according to the Telegraph every train is a Tangara.

For those who may not have heard, below are some details of the incident (which
apparently happened about 8.30am) which may be slightly more factual than the
Telegraph:

An 8-car K-set, front four cars were K73 led by C3540, terminated at North
Sydney Stn. It was to travel empty to North Sydney car sidings (i.e. adjacent
to Luna Park) for stabling. It exited the tunnels north of North Sydney Stn,
then *apparently* derailed at the catchpoints - the front three cars ending up
"in the dirt".

The afternoon edition of the Telegraph shows a front page photo of passengers
walking along the tracks - presumably they were from a down service, as the
driver of an up service would have seen the derailed train before leaving
Waverton platform.

Buses replaced trains between North Sydney & Gordon (it being the southern-most
point they could easily turn trains back) until about 1.30pm.

The rear four cars of the 8-car K-set had been removed by this time, and the up
and down through (outside) tracks opened.

Buses again replaced trains between North Sydney & Gordon after 8pm so the
train could be rerailed and removed.
