Have a look at the following site (http://qroti.bit.net.au/traveltrain/) to
check departure/arrival times between
Cairns/Townsville/Rockhampton/Bundaberg/Brisbane. But it looks like an
overnight stay unless you catch one of the Spirits or Landers back to
Brisbane.
