Cranbourne-Lang Lang, track condition

Hi all,

Drove down the Sth Gippy Hwy this evening and noticed that

- the 2 white blocks of wood (across tracks)are removed from down side of
Cranbourne station
- rails are shiny at Lang Lang, Koo Wee Rup, and at Cranbourne where
blocks of wood are.

This was probably caused by those red thingys (hens/roosters or whatever
they are) being transferred to Bendigo or Ballarat.  When did this happen?
How long did it take to travel between Nyora and Cranbourne?  What did the
track feel like?
