Re: [Melb] Prizes for Validating Metcards

Statistics can be obtained in ways which are more customer friendly.
The whole 'revalidation' rule has been designed to turn ordinary customers
into pseudo criminals, strange for a government (ie the deposed Kennett
one) determined to decriminalise drug taking.

Certainly, all tickets should be valid, but this involves only the first
journey, not subsequent ones.
The myth that better services will result from constant revalidation is
complete management bullshit: the machine at Parliament has no idea which
train I am boarding.
