That's good news.  
Ever since the demise of Australian National which as
some folks would be aware, were working on their
AUSTRAC Train Control system which fell into a hole for
a host of reasons, the train working situation on the
TAR has had a few worrying aspects. 

I have no wish too sound like a dooms-dayer, but after
almost 39 years in the Bush, I have a healthy respect
for the possible implications of a serious high speed
rail collision, involving a passenger train some
thousand Km's from a major population centre.

The response time with specialised help and equipment
would prove too long for many innocents.
