8257 had an ASR logo on it's nose.
Two rumours, beleive which-ever one you want (or both):
  1. They are on lease to ASR (not just trial/eval.)
  2. They are on trail/eval and will regularly be used on AM3/MA3,
justifying an ASW radio to be fitted.
