All,
Today another Epping to Somerton transfer took place, T388-T390 being the
Motive Power. May I just say long live the smokey, roaring T's!!
I photo'ed it at Bell at 09:40 this morning, exhaust smoke going
everywhere, towing 524M-1112T-523M-693M-1094T-375M. (It was on-time
according to the circular)
About 13:20, I photo'ed the return transfer at Collingwood (the T's
looking very nice up on the high level), towing
579M-1140T-580M-674M-1187T-641M. (running about 60 mins late)
Sorry I couldn't give advanced warning, I didn't find out about this move
until late last night. It was originally scheduled for Tuesday.
Apparently there is still another 14 of Hillside's 3 car Comeng sets to go
to Clyde, so there'll be a few more Xfers in the future.
