Filming for a new XXXX ad (Qld beer) took place at Thirlmere this week.
Bordering on the bizarre they used 4306 with 'N' cars and renamed
Thirlmere- Bowen! A number of palm trees were strategically placed. Even
stranger, the plot was supposed to be a bloke getting off of a train to
go into a pub. The pub ended up being the Imperial at Picton which had
all of it's taps changed to XXXX.Unfortunately (or fortunately for those
of us who live in NSW) they don't serve it at all!! Watch out for this
one...
