Deepest sympathy and condolences to families, friends and workmates
concerned.

It is very early days in the investigation but why would an inspector
see what the two drivers couldn't???

Locos were NR3-NR26-NR57.

Lots of rumours about a long time delay between the incident and help
arriving but it is early days yet. The investigation will hopefully
find out what happened and why.

I have a report from a reliable source that one Sydney radio station
was reporting a passenger train derailment at Moss Vale with many
killed!!!! Sometimes it pays to wait until the facts are known.
