Regulation 206

2nd attempt.

Before the current rule x, Section y system was introduced Victorian
Railways (remember them?) Reg 206 read as follows -

206 (a) During shunting operations a driver must not move his train,
although the necessary Fixed Signal may be exhibited, unless he has
received a Hand signal to do so from the Guard, Shunter, or other
person in charge.

(b) In many cases the signal is exhibited for trains to run into a
siding which already in part occupied. Drivers must, therefore, be
prepared to stop short of any other vehicles that may be in the
siding.
Except where special instructions are issued to the contrary, when
shunting the carriages of electric trains, the driver must always be
in the drivers compartment at or nearest to the leading end of the
train.

(c) When putting away loose carriages in any depot or siding, they are
not to be uncoupled from the engine or motor car until they are at
rest in the position in which they are required.

Hope this is what was sought.

Cheers

Krel

When I die I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather; not screaming and scared shitless like his passengers.
