Melb: Metcard Short Trip Ten

Got a tip from a conductor yesterday:

All the partially used old style Short Trip 10 Cards will be replaced
with a new FULL Metcard 10 Short Trip Cards for free.

Dropped my old Short Trip Card with only one remaining trip into the
Elizabeth Street Met Shop this afternoon - and viola! A complete new
Metcard was issued no questions asked.

That's nine journeys for free.  Maybe I can grow to like Metcard.  :)
