I'm pretty sure that nothing is going past Cranbourne soon.
On the east side of the South Gippsland Highway, (approx 100
meters to the east of Cranbourne station), tonight (25/2) I
noticed that they've put two sleepers painted white over the
tops of the rails and nailed them right in. They've also
stuck the little "no road" sign on a stick, right next to
them.

The location of the sleepers is only about two meters from
the highway, and is before the overhead runs out. (About 4
Met Comeng cars before).

The sleepers are so recent they haven't even been
Graffitti'ed on yet. (They wouldn't last to the end of the
week.)

I might have to have a look to see if the 15 km/h speed
restriction sign is still at the station.

(For those of you who have just recently joined the
conversation, there is no longer any regular traffic past
Cranbourne since the demise of the Lang-Lang sand train.)

the month anyway)
