According to the latest loco allocation list issued by QR last week
there are still 18 x 1502 in service and I have heard some are being
repainted as they now need to keep them longer than originally planned.
I get to see all the trains going to/from  Acacia Ridge and as yet I
haven't seen a repainted one come past my window here.  Someone phoned 
me this morning to say they saw a repainted 1502 running around Brisbane
yesterday.

I have also heard that some of the 1700 class withdrawn that were to be
sold have also been put back into service.
