Hawkesbury River

Very strange this morning, we left Gosford at 0659 as usual, got held up
by something approaching Hawkesbury River, with red & yellow signals.
After Hawkesbury they switched us to the other (down) line to go up the
hill. Just before Cowan we overtook two 48 class with one flat wagon and
then returned to the up line.

Strange, and what were 2 48s doing with a single flatwagon at that time
of the morning, and why couldn't they keep up with that (un)load?
