I have heard from staff at Acacia Ridge that FreightCorp have been up here
having a look at using the standard gauge line to Fishermans Island in
competition with other operators. At present the only standard gauge trains
that I have seen go past my window here are ones hauled by National Rail
locos.

My understanding is that Warren Judd who is MD (or something like that) for
NRR comes from the Gold Coast. Could this be why NRR is registered on the
Gold Coast??
