about 5 years ago, a friend of mine was presented with the job of clearing
out a flat that the tennant had shot through on [without paying the rent]
The mess included boxes of Model Railway magazines, lots of "official"
looling SAR documents and an excellent very large collection of old photos
and mabny boxed sets of hundreds of colour slides [end of steam- early
diesels]
I was very busy at the time and suggested a couple of names ...N dePom and
similar, and some time later asked my friend what happened to the stuff.
I was saddened to find out that a well known Hoarder from Puffing Billy got
the lot, and this chap wil die before anyone sees them again...I wonder??
