One report suggested the Tangara was well greatly in excess of the
speed limit at the location (sounded like it might have been through a
turnout), and this was the direct cause of the accident.

Apparently limited services will operate on the North tonight but
there will be further disruptions tomorrow as the site clearing work
continues.
