Re: Train Articles

Perhaps not.

Katy Cronin (sp?) European correspondent for "PM" tonight on 3LO said
that the surviving driver has reported that he didn't hit anything,
but felt a vibration which turned out to be separation of the leading
power unit from the 2nd car after which the automatic brakes were
applied and the power car rolled to a halt some kilometres away from
the scene of the accident.

Ms Cronin also reported that it appears that most of the casualties
occurred in the second and third cars, crushed by the falling bridge.

Nevertheless, a terrible tragedy.
