New QR Citytrain timetable from Monday 1st June 98

The new QR Citytrain timetable which commenced last Monday now has
an additional loco hauled service tabled to run from Zillmere at 7.00am
to the City.  This now makes 7 loco hauled AM peak hour services.  The
3 PM peak hour loco hauled services remain.

Services have begun operating between Robina and Brisbane.  Most services
are rostered to be operated by IMU sets however three services are
rostered for the older EMU sets.

An ICE set now operates the 2.49pm service Bowen Hills to Robina then
works the 4.20pm service from Robina to Gympie North arriving 8.24pm
(4hrs 4 mins).  I presume this is now the longest single Citytrain
journey.

Unfortunately QR have also stuffed up the new timetable by increasing
the gaps between some peak hour services such as:
* No train Salisbury to the City between 7.04am and 7.30am (26")
* No train Salisbury south towards Beenleigh between 6.01am and 6.43am (42")
* The gap has not been fixed up on the Ipswich line where there is no
  train Central to Ipswich between 7.29am and 8.07am (38").
