Which doesn't really mean anything. :)
What is described with respect to the wheat and coal trains sounds like
mere dead hauling of locomotives at the end of the train. Push-pull
implies that the locos at each end are somehow MU'd like an XPT (or the
poor man's variety in Victoria).
