Removal of 46s at Redfern

At 2.00pm today (9/07/98) 8108 departed the Carriage Works at Redfern
hauling 4622, 4616, 4625, 4611, 4609, 4604, 4613, 4621, 4614 & 4630 to
Simsmetal at Mascot. 4610 had to be left behind due to an air leak in
its brake system. Theconsist ran into number 3 platform at Sydney
Terminal to enable 8108 to run around, then travelled via Strathfield,
passing through Enfield at 3.30pm.
(Excellent footage was shot for a future video.)
