What a silly thing to say.  That way everybody is affected by the cutbacks,
not just the people who travel between Syd and Canb.  We would end up like
western NSW where many people have no rail now, and bloody poor roads. 
Lets get ALL our transport links coordinated and have a good system. 
Germany has excellent autobahns, and an excellent rail system.
