They also have lateral dampers.  It took a couple of years to get the XL / XAM /
Xploder / Endanger bogies to the condition they are in now.  When they first
came out, they were very bad, and failed all their original ride tests.
Watching the closed circuit TV pointed at the lateral damper was also quite
entertaining as the train went along our goat tracks.
