Is it faster? Certainly a LOT harder to control - the way it is planned to
operate, the outer platforms will be for arrivals, and the ventre island
platform for departures. The way you suggest, you will have a stack of
people getting off the train and running straight into a mass of people
wanting to get on!
It is also not possible to head around the loop - it is a loop like the
city circle in Sydney.
