In case noone else mentions it...
The Upfield (VIC) line re-opened for "normal" services today.
ie: the 7:52 at Batman was 5 minutes late, and by the time
it arrived at Flagstaff it was 10 minutes late...:-(

The level crossing at Macauley station appeared to be a fully
manual operation, with several maintenance people on site...

Free travel (Upfield line only, incl. cityloop etc, same conditions
as during the partial closure) until 21 March.
