The first "W" class (928) AT tram has been tested and commissioned. I
drove it yesterday on a test run from Malven Depot to East Burwood and
return. However the union has said they won't run it due to the fact
that the driver can't see kids or short people standing near the rear
door due to the TVM obscuring the drivers view when he looks in his
mirror. Kew Depot starts full Automated ticketing on Tuesday 24 Feb.
