RSA and South Coast (NSW) line

It was reported on the local WIN4 news last night that the tendering for
maintenance of the South Coast line has been postponed for 18 months. This
means that RSA will keep the work and will not have to sack all their
workers as was reported in the local press. It was also reported in the
press that the contract had already been awarded to Fluor Daniel, if so
will they be eligible for any form of compensation?
As an aside, the overhead on the Port Kembla balloon loop is still broken
and tied off either side of the Old Port Road level crossing. It was struck
about three weeks ago by a tipper semi-trailer on which, according to the
driver, the hoist activated accidentally and he didn't notice, so he was
driving along with the tipper up in the air.
