TAT-Temporary Alternative Transport

At Mont Albert Station, there is a sign on the platforms advising of
where to catch the bus when the trains don't run. Also on the road
parallel to the north side of the train line, there is a bus stop either
side of the road that looks like a square with triangles attached above
and below:

In the best interests of making public transport as complicated to use
as possible, the sign refers to rail buses as Temporary Alternative
Transport. However Mont Albert station is the only place I have seen
these signs. I find this unusual as if there was some sort of plan to
have permanent arrangements to set up alternative transport including
permanently informing commuters where to catch buses from if there is a
rail disruption (a good idea - perhaps Sydney could learn with their
recent problems and subsequently aus.rail threads, although given most
Sydney stations are staffed all day and Melbourne's only in the morning
peak except safeworking and premium stations - usually same thing oddly
enough 8^) ), I would expect to see the bus stops and information signs
at each station at least between Box Hill and Camberwell (if it is a
trial scheme).
Do any other Melbourne stations have this or is there inded any scheme
for immediate TAT if trains have some sort of hiccup? Or was there such
a scheme since aborted after 1 station was done?
