Has it? It was in pretty lousy condition when I was there in August. The
section from Chapel Street to St Kilda junction had clearly not been
attended to since opened in 1968.
Far worse was the ballasted track in Mt Alexander Road on the Airport
West lines. The trams were forced to crawl along there to try to ensure
they didn't come off what passed for the track.
