Probably another problem would be the lack of pathing on the line
available to be used. If it ran during the day, it would probably make it
to Dimboola providing coaling from truck can be provided at say Ararat
without blocking section for too long. It would almost definately have to
hole up in Dimboola for the night to let all the freight through in the
busy time. Adelaide would be another day beyond that.
Clearances should not be a problem, I think the SAR clearances are the
widest, hence the reason the 620 never made it to melbourne when it came
over last time.

Perhaps there isn't the interest or the costs are too great..
Logistically these trips are hard work to run with the profit margins
anywhere from not much to absolute heaps. At 2-3000 per person, 5 people
either way can make or break a trip of this nature.
