X101/102 [two units only built] were built Chullora
1962 while X 201 to 218 were built at Chullora in
1963. The later serier were about 12 tones heavier.

Locomotive Pocketbook,ARHS 1973.

 X104 and X117 were originally X204 and X217 but were
rebuilt some years back with alterations to the brakes
so shunters and other non mainline drivers could drive
them. [full details on these changes could be added by
those who know more]

Thus X104 and X117 are part of the later build units.
