Correct as well as the fact the acid used in the wash takes the paint off. The blue
band was just an extra piece of maintainence that was not neccesary.

Fleet ops (or whatever they call themselves this week) had "just" got rid of paint
from the stainless steel cars and another bunch start putting it back on.
