Ahh yes,
Way back when I was in Guards school they dreamt up the rule that you had to:
*Announce all stops when leaving the first station.
*Announce all stops before a jtn station
*Announce all "change for information" before a jtn station and I mean ALL.
(imagine central station?)
*Announce all stops after jtn station.
*Announce the next 4 stations in advance every 4 stations.
*Announce in advance and on arrival terminating stations.
As you can imagine this never really took off.
