On Sunday 16/8/98 the last section of track was completed between Toolamba
and Echuca.  The crew who worked all weekend to get it finished was from
Geelong as the normal crew would not work weekends.  Rice trains are to
start in a few weeks.  Still seen nothing in any paper about it...
When the turntable from Numurkah was to get shifted the locals stood on the
turntable and prevented it getting shifted for now...
