I am not sure about pre 1956, but from that date there was certainly no
cross use of Riverina Express and Central West RUB sets:
Riverina Express used two RUB sets with OBS carriages.
Melbourne - Sydney Daylight Express used two RUB sets with OBS carriages.
Central West Express used a HUB set.
AFAIK the Central West RUB sets used OFS carriages; these were transferred
to Brisbane Limited Express. Central West was cut back to Orange, using a
single HUB set transferred from South Coast Daylight Express (which became
Budd cars).
