Hi there
The Automated ticketing equipment on trams gets it location
information from AVM signposts which are placed along routes at
strategic locations( ie depots major intersections etc) These same
signposts also send tram information to the Fleet Operations centre in
Carlton and is displayed on monitors in front of the controllers.
