Grade seperation is very noticable in Melbourne. the train line either climes
over the road (like Cantabury) or under (like Box Hill) or the road is moved.
There was a few grade seperations around Oakleigh and Huntingdale. These
had the road lifted over the railway line.

Sydney has a big advantage iin the goegraphy (as said). But also only with
projects like the elecifrication of the Box Hill line did they do any major
grade seperation. In the last 15 years we have only had Box Hill, Watsonia
and now Boronia.

If only the government had an effort to get rid of alll the level crossings
in some parts of Melbourne like all crossings between Camberwell and Ringwood.
(with the third line to Ringwood from Box Hill)
