TT> Old habits die hard I guess. A lot of spark drivers are now ex-Enfield guys.
TT> Crossing lights are quite common at places like Hornsby and Gosford, where the
TT> driver wishes to let other trains know that their train is clear of the
TT> mainline. For those who do not know what crossing lights are, it is when the
TT> marker light closest to the running line is made white, while the other marker
TT> light is made red.
I've also noticed suburban trains on the Illawarra line carrying the old
Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra/South indications on their marker lights on
the Up and Down directions respectively.
Regards,
Albert.
