It is highly unlikely that the Prospector railcars could be used Melbourne -
Adelaide due to the size of the cars. The Prospector cars were built to the
Australian Standard loading guage, to which only the Sydney suburban passenger
lines, the Commonwealth Railways lines and Westrail standard gauge line were
built. All other lines have height and/or width restrictions which would
preclude their operation.
