But if the upgraded the track (as you are suggesting) a much faster
service could be run which would in turn attract more passengers. They
would have the demand to run multiple services including the IP. They
might just rebadge the Overland and run it during the day with the IP as
a night service or vice versa. Or both at night with a daylight express
(Overland Prospector?) service.
