Track Diagrams

Given the recent discussion on STNs and other railway paraphernalia, I was
wondering where one could pick up Victorian track diagrams. Alternatively,
how does one find out distances between stations, crossovers and other
important track references (eg bridges, signalling, etc)? I assume the
Railfan Shop in the city (Melb) is my best bet but are there other options?
