The topics you refer to have in no way been as frequent as the
union-related ones... close to 300 in just the four day Easter holiday
period. Anyhow, the most union discussions I have seen has been of the
waterfront... that's ships, not trains. Spam is unwelcome and unsuitable
anywhere. Union-related discussions/flame-wars have a place: in a more
suitable one...

Why not go and create a new newsgroup, like "aus.union" or
"aus.politics.union", then make a single post here and where-ever else to
let us know that the group has been created so those WHO ARE INTERESTED can
go there?!?

Let's not go through this **** again, please!!! All that is really being
gained through these threads is fighting and bickering, lost participants
to the newsgroup and lost friendships all because someone doesn't agree
with someone else and from derogative replies. Can we please stop here,
NOW, before there is nothing left of this group and everyone has managed to
insult and hate everyone?!? We might even get back to discussing what this
group is all about.
