If the line closes, could they afford to buy/upgrade or even maintain
the track?
I heard once again today "from a usually reliable source" that
Cranbourne-Nyora, Toolamba-Echuca, Sale-Bairnsdale and
Bridgewater-Inglewood are all to officially close within the next 3
months, ahead of any infrastructure sale.
Why?
Why not leave them to whoever buys the infrastructure to do with them
as they see fit?
