Ah, thank you, I missed that one, and hadn't realised it was a W, either.
What an odd number. It bears no relation to any Collins Street route I
can recall. It was once in the William Street series (city to Domain
Road) along with 32 (Camberwell to William St) 35 (Malvern Burke Rd to
William St) and so on up to 38 (all via Kingsway etc).
Collins Street routes traditionally were 9/10/11/12 (the various South
Melbourne&St Kilda/St Georges Rd connections and 42 (Mont Albert; now
109).
